Job summary

externalhaincareersite is seeking a dependable packaging operator to safely run automated packaging lines, including robotic palletizer, in a high-speed production setting.

You will follow GMP and food-safety guidelines, complete on-time paperwork, and support shift transitions. Starting wage is $21.00+ per hour, with a $0.50/hr shift differential, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing, warehousing or industrial environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging machines and robotic palletizer.
• Respond to production problems and adjust equipment to keep production moving.
• Complete required paperwork and quality checks on time.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow GMP/food safety guidelines.
• Support shift setup and changeovers for maximum productivity.
• Follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Employees shall support company culture, be collaborative, foster teamwork and be part of solutions.
• Operate machine centers (DPM, C50/C51, straight line closer, glue station, checkweigher, Schneider case-packers and robotic palletizer, C24, C45, V5) efficiently while maintaining highest quality standards.
• Support and respond to production problems and take appropriate corrective action. Make any minor and necessary mechanical adjustments to keep production flow moving.
• Complete required paperwork and quality checks on time and accurately.
• Be flexible and able to work in area(s) assigned in order to meet production demands.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment to support safe environment.
• Continually strive for safety, quality, and productivity by reporting any concerns and following rules/guidelines.
• Maintain supplies in work area for current shift as well as helping set-up for next shift.
• Sufficiently perform package and tea change-overs for maximum productivity.
• Additional duties as needed.
• Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:
• GMP’s / PPE / Allergen Program / Quality / Sanitation / Safety / SQF

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

MONDAY - FRIDAY, 3:00PM - 11:15PM

SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:

$.50 / HR

OVERVIEW:

Safely and efficiently operate all automated packaging machines, including robotic palletizer. Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, quality, cost and GMP standards in high- speed manufacturing environment.
