Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator - Stamping in Sheboygan, WI. The role operates single-stroke and coil fed press equipment, performs quality inspections, and handles coils and finished parts to meet customer specs.

You will load/unload material, package and label products, and ensure accurate production orders. Ideal candidates have machining experience in stamping, strong math and reading skills, and the ability to stand 8–10 hours daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, measurement and reading comprehension skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Prior machining operation experience; preferably in stamping or similar production environment.
• Ability to walk/stand for 8-10 hours; lifting/moving up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with hand tools and other manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating single-stroke and coil fed punch press equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performing visual and dimensional inspections using measuring devices, gauges, fixtures, and other quality tools to ensure products meet blueprint and customer specifications.
• Loading and unloading metal coils with or without assistance as needed.
• Inspecting, packaging, and labeling finished products according to customer requirements and company procedures.
• Verifying bills of materials and production orders to ensure accurate product manufacturing.
• Safely operating pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Meeting or exceeding production, efficiency, and quality goals.
• Completing required company training and maintaining compliance with all safety and operational requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 5:00AM - 3:00PM or 3:00PM - 1:00AM (Monday - Thursday, Possible OT on Friday)
