Job summary

Carr Lane Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Machine Operator for the Hone department in a fast-paced production setting. You will set up and operate honing equipment to meet drawings and tolerances, ensuring productivity and quality.

Team collaboration is essential to meet schedules. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to read, write, and understand English or Spanish. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; on-site responsibilities include safety and quality

Job Summary:

As a member of the Hone department, the Machine Operator is primarily responsible for the setup and operation of Hone production equipment using standard concepts, practices, and procedures. The Machine Operator is also responsible for minor operating modifications to ensure that productivity and quality goals are achieved. Works with others to ensure that production schedules are met.

What Will Your Job Look Like?

• Daily set up of the machine
• Produce standard and special tolerances on components according to drawings and specifications
• Use tooling and machine programs to maintain tolerances

• Must be capable of reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English or Spanish
• Strong attention to detail

• Prior experience in a warehouse environment
• Manufacturing background/knowledge
