Kelly Services is seeking a Slitting Operator in New York to set up, operate, and monitor slitting equipment used to cut large rolls of material into specified widths. You will ensure quality, accurate measurements, and safe operation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include loading rolls, adjusting blade alignment, recording data, and preparing finished rolls for shipping. Prior experience is preferred; strong math and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow production orders.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area following all safety procedures.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine upkeep.

The Slitting Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring slitting equipment used to cut large rolls of material into specific widths. This role ensures product quality, accurate measurements, safe machine operation, and efficient production flow in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
