Job summary

Universal Pure is seeking a Machine Operator in Malvern, PA. The role focuses on monitoring and controlling the production line to maximize productivity while meeting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating machines and HMIs, coordinating with QA and Line Leads, verifying codes, and maintaining accurate shift records. The position requires flexibility in schedule and the ability to work in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience operating machines in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and machine HMI operation functions.
• Coordinate with FSQA Techs on product status and deviations.
• Coordinate with Line Lead to resolve issues and reduce bottlenecks.
• Verify date codes and check fill rates hourly to maximize output.
• Maintain line metrics and downtime boards; report trends and take corrective actions.
• Complete paperwork for customer specifications.
• Monitor attendance at shift changes and communicate deficiencies.
• Schedule CIP cycles and ensure safety gear and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate issues to Maintenance and adjust labor allocation if needed.
• Review Operator Scorecard and implement best practices.
