Spacesaver Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator in the Shelving department to run production equipment and ensure parts meet quality and delivery standards.

You will read shop orders, operate preset machines, perform quality inspections with precision tools, and maintain safety protocols. This hands-on role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to schedules, with overtime when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate pre-set machines to produce parts per shop orders.
• Follow safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
• Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
• Use Spacesaver’s ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
