Job summary

Lingo Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator - Sheet Metal Fabricator to start ASAP in Pittsburgh, PA. You will operate sheet metal fabrication equipment and assemble materials used in HVAC ductwork systems.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with pay $15.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sheet metal fabrication machinery and equipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Work independently or in a team and lift up to 50 lbs.

Machine Operator/Sheet Metal Fabricator - Responsible for operating sheet metal fabrication equipment and assembling materials used in HVAC ductwork systems. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Pay rate & Scheduled:

• $15.00-$20.00/hour (Based on Experience)
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Safely operated sheet metal fabrication machinery and equipment
• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience preferred
• Sheet metal or HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Assemble materials used to manufacture ductwork for HVAC systems
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and basic blueprints
• Accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch
• Load and unload sheet metal and other production materials
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with additional production and manufacturing duties as needed
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to remain on your feet throughout the entire shift
