Job summary

Lingo Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator - Sheet Metal Fabricator to start ASAP in Pittsburgh, PA. You will operate sheet metal fabrication equipment and assemble materials used in HVAC ductwork systems.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with pay $15.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for inspection and quality control.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
• Reliable, with good attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sheet metal fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Load and unload sheet metal and inspect parts for quality.
• Read and follow production schedules and basic blueprints.
• Accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Work independently or in a team and lift up to 50 lbs.
