Canfor in Graham, NC is seeking a Machine Operator to join our sawmill production team. You will rotate through tasks, safely operate industrial machinery, and collaborate with teammates to hit production goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work around moving machinery, dust, and noise.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing/industrial setting preferred; lumber process knowledge a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various job responsibilities in your workspace on an hourly basis.
• Safely operate industrial machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain quality throughout the production process.
• Inspect machinery regularly and report wear or malfunctions to maintenance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
