Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Master Roll lift safely.
• Rewind product according to customer specifications and internal procedures.
• Visually inspect labels for defects.
• Set up multiple slitter units and slits.
• Maintain inventory of rewind material and replenish as needed.
• Set up and run the Label Vision System.
• Splice rolls together following customer specifications.
• Follow PM schedules to maintain rewind equipment.
• Assist in training team members and ensure safety procedures.

Pay: $16.40-$20.00/hour and a 12% shift differential when working weekend shift hours.

Rewinder Essential Job Functions

• Operate Master Roll lift safely
• Rewinds product according to customer specifications and internal procedures.
• Visually inspects labels for defects.
• Sets up multiple slitter units.
• Slits down jobs.
• Maintains inventory of rewind material and replenishes as needed.
• Sets up and runs the Label Vision System.
• Splices rolls together following customer's specifications.
• Maintains the Rewind equipment using the PM schedules.
• Follows procedures to setup and operate the back numbering equipment.
• Operates the table top rewind equipment when needed.
• Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned.
• Complies with established safety procedures and policies.
• Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and/or validations.
• Focuses on Continuous Improvement, Quality, Improved Cycle Times, Safety, Cost Reductions, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to work well in a team-based manufacturing environment

• Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends or holidays as needed
• Ability to distinguish color variations
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Education And Experience

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals; OSHA safety standards enforced.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks requiring bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to operate equipment and visually inspect product.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
