Silgan Plastics Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. The role focuses on maintaining quality specifications, following GMP and housekeeping standards, and performing routine maintenance and color changes as required.

The operator will document bottle quality requirements, communicate issues clearly, and log inspections in the plant's SPC software to support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Maintains machine operation while meeting GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Understands bottle quality requirements and documents those requirements.
• Performs color changes and minor preventive maintenance as needed.

Responsabilités

• Ensure machine safety and smooth operation during shift.
• Sustain efficiencies and reduce scrap to meet plant goals.
• Communicate machine, process and quality issues effectively.
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot tasks logically.
• Follow supervisor directions and perform assigned duties.
• Record quality inspections in SPC software.
