Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing in Van Buren, IN is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate and monitor production and packaging equipment, ensuring quality and food-safety standards. The role includes making adjustments, performing inspections, and collaborating with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

You will document production activity, participate in quality checks, and help meet daily goals while following GMPs and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding English to perform job duties
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and safety

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production and packaging equipment
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust as needed
• Inspect products and perform quality and food-safety checks
• Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Maintain production and quality records
• Follow GMPs, sanitation and safety procedures
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Communicate equipment status during shift handoffs
