Job summary

Shifts Available: Day Shift 4:30am - 4:45pm | Night Shift 4:30pm - 4:45am | 2-2-3 Schedule

Starting Hourly Pay: $21/hour

Position Overview

As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and according to quality and food-safety standards.

You will make equipment adjustments, complete required inspections, respond to minor production issues, and collaborate with your team to keep operations running smoothly.

In This Role, You Will
  • Safely operate production and packaging equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments
  • Inspect products and complete required quality and food-safety checks
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation requirements, and safety procedures
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate equipment status and production updates during shift handoffs
  • Work with your team to meet daily production goals
  • Identify and recommend improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency
A Typical Day Might Include

At the beginning of your shift, you will review production goals, equipment conditions, and current priorities with your team.

Throughout the day, you will operate and monitor equipment, inspect finished products, complete quality checks, make adjustments, and respond to changing production needs.

You will also document production activity and communicate important information to the next shift.

Compensation
  • Starting pay of $21.00/hour
  • Average annual earnings of $50,232
  • $0.50/hour raise after 90 days
  • Additional $0.50/hour raise after 6 months
  • $3.00/hour Night Shift Premium

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting.

  • Basic math and computer/data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with focus on quality and accuracy.
