Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Full-Time Machine Operator at the Evansville Airport Warehouse. The role requires standing for long periods, performing part calculations, labeling orders, and ensuring quality standards are met.

You will handle packaging, stacking/skids, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following company procedures. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to multitask, and pass vision tests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to calculate part requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to stand and walk for long shifts (7–12 hours).
• Minimal lifting of 30 lbs with frequency 20 times per hour.
• Must pass color vision tests (Ishihara/Farnsworth D-15).

Responsibilities

• Compare and approve print quality within specified limits.
• Calculate parts required to complete orders.
• Label orders sequentially and stamp boxes with date, shift, and clock number.
• Place completed boxes on skids and parts in totes or trays.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; follow safety and health requirements.
• Complete order paperwork accurately and communicate quality issues to the next shift.
