Operate punching machines successfully to support the production process. Maintain general knowledge of machines throughout the conversion area. Complete required training measures (PQ&T) as needed. Maintain process systems, 6S, and production standards. Foster a positive work environment and adhere to safety procedures. Assist others in the department as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and adaptable
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multitask and stand for 8 hours
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prefer experience in machine operation

Additional Responsibilities

• Load rolls of sandpaper on machines
• Check dies and plates for usability
• Use SAP to look up materials
• Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist
• Set up and start machines; make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair machines following escalation procedures
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality standards
• Maintain machine cleanliness and tool organization
• Follow safety procedures related to machine operation
