Job summary

SunCoke Energy in Middletown, OH is seeking a Production Operator to support MTO operations. You will work as part of the team to meet production schedules safely, follow company policies, and maintain the equipment and work area.

Responsibilities include operating equipment (PCM, utility car, locomotive, conveyors, and gates), assisting maintenance, documenting shift activity, and communicating issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed production schedules safely and per company policies.
• Operate production unit to maximize productivity within safety guidelines; communicate issues as needed.
• Assist maintenance with minor troubleshooting, PMs, inspections.
• Assist in emergency repairs and larger maintenance scope as required.
• Operate equipment such as PCM, utility car, locomotive, conveyors, and gates safely.
• Follow production sequence; notify supervisor of deviations promptly.
• Participate in shift-change activities and maintain accurate logs.
• Keep work areas neat and orderly.
• Prepare and submit required reports and logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
