Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Machine Operator to support multiple customers and product types, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role operates manufacturing and finishing equipment following established procedures and quality systems (AS9120/ISO where applicable).

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years in production. Candidates should be able to read instructions, use basic instruments, and work well in a team environment. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years in production/manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of equipment, PPE and safety practices.
• Ability to read work instructions and basic drawings.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Perform routine production and value-added tasks per work instructions.
• Inspect materials/products to ensure quality requirements.
• Maintain product identification and traceability.
• Follow SOPs, travelers, and safety guidelines.
• Use measuring tools to verify specifications.
• Identify and report equipment or process issues.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Move materials, tools, and products as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Other duties as assigned.
