Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator in Minnetonka, MN. The role involves setting up, operating, cleaning, and monitoring machinery to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

You will move materials, inspect for defects, and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of machine operation or production experience, the ability to stand for long shifts, and are comfortable working with chemicals in a large, safety-focused manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year of machine operation or production experience.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work with chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform checks to ensure accuracy per product specifications and document deviations.
• Interrupt machine operation to correct problems; troubleshoot and act quickly.
• Accurately measure WIP and finished goods.
• Perform troubleshooting to solve equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct handling and mixing of chemicals per formulas and procedures.
• Contain, label, store, and transfer hazardous waste per procedures.
