Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator in Minnetonka, MN. The role involves setting up, operating, cleaning, and monitoring machinery to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

You will move materials, inspect for defects, and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of machine operation or production experience, the ability to stand for long shifts, and are comfortable working with chemicals in a large, safety-focused manufacturing

MACHINE OPERATOR- $25/HR- $26/HR- URGENT HIRING- START ASAP

Set-up, clean, and monitor machine operations according to standard operating instructions. Understand department safety, quality and regulatory requirements, and production goals; actively engage in meeting these goals. Move and inspect raw materials and products to ensure there are no visual defects; take corrective action as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform checks to ensure accuracy per product specifications, ensure overall product quality, and track in manual logs or computer systems to capture deviations and quality traceability data.
• Interrupt machine operation as necessary to correct operating problems; minimize production of materials that do not meet specifications by quickly taking action and using investigative, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
• Accurately measure work in process (WIP) and finished goods.
• Perform troubleshooting to solve equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct handling and mixing of chemicals according to prescribed formulas and procedures.
• Contain, label, store, and transfer hazardous waste according to procedures.

Pay and Benefits
