Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Machine Operator for its manufacturing site in Anasco, Puerto Rico. You will prepare and operate equipment such as lathes and optical devices, ensure continuous production flow, and perform setup adjustments to meet specifications.

The role requires technical training and willingness to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts, including weekends. Candidates should have a technical degree in a related field, plus experience operating manufacturing equipment and performing line

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and performing setups.
• Willingness to work multiple shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for machine configuration.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for processing lens batches and monitor machine performance.
• Configure orders on the production line and operate measurement devices.
• Perform calculations to configure machines and processes.
• Run tests to execute processes and equipment, ensure EMS compliance.
• Handle PEG-related materials and clean-up per GMP and EHS rules.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform preventive maintenance.
