Job Title: Optics Operator I (Multiple Positions)

Job Function: Supply Chain Manufacturing | Job Sub Function: Manufacturing Assembly | Job Category: Business Enablement/Support

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including cutting machines, microscopes, comparators, and optical benches.
• Execute machine setup and adjust parameters to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and calibrations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Sanitize and keep the work area clean and organized following FIFO, KANBAN, and the 5’S program.
• Provide training to teammates based on the established training plan.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to problem‑solving and data analysis.
• Document all production orders, including quantity of units and material acceptance/rejection, and complete required forms for order history.
• Verify accuracy of production order documentation to avoid discrepancies in quantities and data.
• Record process logs and any necessary line logs as per procedure.
• Enter transactions into the manufacturing system for units produced and materials accepted or rejected, ensuring report veracity.
• Complete daily production reports and downtime logs in the manufacturing system, noting reasons for any downtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts or 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
