Job summary

International Paper in Decatur, AL is hiring for an hourly, full-time position at our Decatur Container site. Starting pay is $22.29 per hour with increases after a 90-day probationary period. The role requires flexibility across shifts and may include weekends as needed.

You will count and stack finished product, read factory orders, read gauges, and perform basic shop math. You will also complete quality and administrative documents and assist with cleanup tasks around the machine area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

$22.29/hr Starting Pay

Increases after 90 days (working) probationary period is completed.

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (Monday-Friday with weekends as needed)

Must be available to work all shifts.

1st Shift: 7a-3p

2nd Shift: 3p-11p

3rd Shift: 11p-7a

The Job You Will Perform:

• Counting and stacking finished product
• Reading factory orders
• Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
• This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
