Job description

Aiding the production process by successfully operating the LD Clamshell Packaging Machine in the PA3 Value Stream. The machine includes Algus Clamshell sealing. Each operator must be familiar with operating all parts of the machine and complete the required training measures (PQ&T's) as needed. As a Bosch Associate and Machine Operator, you are expected to maintain a positive work environment by following appropriate safety procedures. You must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day and have excellent manual dexterity. You are also required to meet production standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting up and operating all components of the machine, including loading LD saw blades, clamshells, cards, etc.
2. Replenishing materials such as tape, labels, clams, and cards as needed.
3. Placing sealed clamshells into cartons and loading cartons into the machine.
4. Loading and unloading pallets, operating pin lifts, pallet lifts, and hoists.
5. Making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient machine operation.
6. Reading and following standard operating procedures related to the machine.
7. Detecting and ensuring quality standards are met for each product.
8. Following procedures for machine cleanliness and tool organization.
9. Willingness to operate various machines as needed.
10. Maintaining knowledge of safety procedures, including safety guards, emergency stops, and lockout/tagout protocols.
