Job summary

Gibraltar Building Products in Perris, CA is seeking a manufacturing associate. You will set up and adjust machinery, load and seal cartons, move finished products to pallets, and ensure accurate labeling. Applicants need basic math, chart reading, and the ability to lift up to 62 pounds.

Qualifications

• Highschool or GED required.
• Two plus years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
• Attention to detail to identify and fix malfunctions.
• Ability to lift up to 62 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist forklift driver with loading coils onto payoff.
• Set up roll form machine and prep with tools and PPE.
• Pre-form cartons, fill, seal, and apply labels.
• Verify labels are correct and properly placed.
• Move finished cartons to storage or shipping racks.
• Transport racks using a riding pallet jack.
• Measure product length and monitor quality.
• Report production or quality issues to supervisor.
• Lubricate machines and refill lubricants as needed.
• Dispose of scrap and maintain a clean, safe area.
• Complete paperwork and process time/production data.
