Job description

Location: Allentown, PA
Pay: $25-$27.50 depending on schedule.
Schedule: 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM), 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM)

Job Responsibilities:

1. CNC/EDM Operations: Set up and operate CNC/EDM machines for machining, drilling, and shaping tasks. Study work instructions and specifications, install work holding devices, and select tools. Inspect and document dimensions for quality compliance. Troubleshoot production and machine issues, maintain tools, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Perform related duties as assigned.
2. ECM Operations: Set up and operate electro-chemical machines for metal cutting according to specifications. Plan operations, dress electrodes, adjust machine settings, and inspect workpieces for quality compliance. Update status electronically, assist other operators, and maintain production and quality standards. Troubleshoot issues and perform related duties as needed.
