As a Machine Operator Level 2 at Honeywell, you will operate and maintain various machines in our manufacturing facility in Pottsville, PA. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.


You will impact the production process by operating and monitoring machines, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Shift: 8 hours, with exceptions for Saturdays. Two Saturdays per month are 12-hour shifts (12pm-12am and 4pm-4am). The other two Saturdays are off.
  • Work safely and independently with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Comply with ISO/Safety/cGMP policies and procedures.
  • Operate extrusion lines/machines; training on extruders, pelletizers, and recycle machines required.
  • Pack and ship orders.
  • Operate forklift and other mobile equipment.
  • Use hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Achieve results in a team-based, Six Sigma environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
  • Stand for up to 7 hours per shift.
  • Work a set shift with rotating days off.

US Person Requirements

Due to US export control laws, candidates must be US Citizens, permanent residents, or have protected status.

In October 2024, Honeywell plans to spin off its Advanced Materials business into an independent publicly traded company. This role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials division, will be part of that transition.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's license.

  • Computer skills, including SAP and Optivisio.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
