Job summary

Palram Basic in the United States is seeking a night-shift production associate to support extrusion and finishing operations. You will receive plastic sheets, stack pallets, run quality checks, and assist with color changes and setup.

We offer comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage), a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, plus a night shift differential of $3.50 on top of up to $18.00 per hour; shift runs 6:45 pm–7:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Receives finished plastic sheeting out of extruder and stacks pallets with counts.
• Replaces rolls of tape, protective covering, barcodes, and related materials.
• Performs light transmission and product control tests and makes corrections.
• Handles length/width changes and pallet adjustments.
• Sets up silos and operates raw materials; assists with color changes.
• Maintains start-up/shut-down procedures and basic maintenance; completes tagging and documentation.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Hiring Immediately**

Salary Range: starting up to $18.00/hr. (Night Shift Differential + $3.50)

Responsibilities

• Receives finished plastic sheeting out of extruder, creates neatly stacked pallets, marks sheet counts
• Completes replacement of rolls of tape, protective covering, barcodes, and other materials
• Completes Light Transmission and Product Control tests, makes necessary corrections
• Performs length/width and pallet changes
• Performs silo setup and operation of raw materials
• With assistance, performs color changes; basic machine maintenance and cleaning; start up and shut down procedures; and thickness changes
• Conducts yellow tagging procedure and documentation
• Other duties and activities as directed

Qualifications or Requirements

• Ability to accurately read metric tape measure
• Perform basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly, stand, walk, bend, twist, and/or reach for duration of shift
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Forklift operation experience a plus!
