Job summary

Randstad USA in Cheshire, CT is seeking a machine operator / quality and process adherence specialist to ensure products meet standards and all steps are properly documented. The role emphasizes strict adherence to SOPs and manufacturing instructions, with duties spanning process control, in-process quality checks, and thorough documentation.

You will stage materials, manage flow of finished goods, and assist with basic cleaning and maintenance to keep the work cell audit-ready.

Responsibilities

• Process control: strictly adhere to all established standard operating procedures (sops) and manufacturing work instructions for the assigned machine.
• Quality assurance: perform systematic and documented in-process quality checks at required intervals, logging results accurately on control sheets or digital systems.
• Documentation: accurately complete all production paperwork, downtime logs, and quality documentation to ensure traceability and audit compliance.
• Material management: stage raw materials and components needed for the machine and manage the flow of finished goods efficiently.
• Machine maintenance: assist in scheduled basic cleaning and maintenance activities, ensuring the equipment and work cell are organized and audit-ready.

Work hours: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
