Job Description Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team for the night shift. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines including Extrusion Machines, Injection Molding Machines, and Thermoforming equipment. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, as well as previous experience in injection molding and plastic extrusion. If you have a strong background in machine setups, troubleshooting industrial automation equipment, and are looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safety
• Support a safety culture and workplace
• Be aware of surroundings and PPE requirements
• Follow all safety procedures for each task
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Report safety concerns immediately

• Quality
• Inspect products for defects and pack finished goods correctly
• Validate parts for quality (weight, diameter, clarity)
• Report quality concerns immediately

• Productivity
• Start up/shut down and troubleshoot equipment
• Perform job and changeovers as per schedule
• Ensure equipment runs to standard
• Complete PM duties as part of TPM
• Maintain accurate paperwork
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
• Work with minimal supervision and communicate issues
• Meet line targets while ensuring safety and quality
• Use cell phones only during breaks or when line is down
• Support team members and assist with training
• Perform other team-support tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication skills and conflict management
• Flexibility for overtime and off-shifts
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and wear PPE
• Consistent attendance
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
