Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a manufacturing associate in our Ohio facility to lead machine operation, setup, and production sequences for optimal output. You will monitor process parameters, perform quality checks, and safely handle materials while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or 3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be necessary, and ERP systems experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Lead setups, product changeovers, and program production sequences for optimal productivity.

• Troubleshooting & Controls: Monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, and pressures; systematically diagnose machine malfunctions to find root-cause solutions.

• Quality & Safety: Perform routine quality tests using standard measuring devices; safely load/unload raw materials and finished products while strictly adhering to safety policies and PPE requirements.

• Collaboration: Actively support preventative maintenance (PMs), participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, standard work), and collaborate with team members to hit department goals.

• Required: High school diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Commitment to safety as a core value.

• Preferred: 2+ years of skilled labor experience demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.

• Comfortable using computer applications and ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a track record of high-quality work.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically and work designated shift hours plus reasonable overtime.
