Responsibilities

• Perform the startup and shutdown procedures for the assigned production line area.
• Perform changeovers quickly, efficiently and safely.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, molding and inspection of parts.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance duties.
• Report malfunctions or abnormalities to the maintenance team.
• Complete reports and answer questions as requested.
• Record material usage and reconcile usage at shift end.
• Complete data entry using Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production line area.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Functions:

• Perform the startup and shutdown procedures for the assigned production line area.
• Perform changeovers quickly, efficiently and safely
• Perform all of the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations, as well as the inspection of them
• Perform basic preventative maintenance duties
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities with equipment to the maintenance team
• Complete reports and answer questions, as requested or assigned
• Accurately record all material usage and reconcile that usage at the end of each shift
• Complete data entry using excel spreadsheets
• Maintain cleanliness of the assigned production line area
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties, as assigned

* This role requires a transition to night-shift once the initial training period on day-shift ends. The length of the training period is undetermined and at the company's discretion.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent attendance and safety record
• Knowledge of basic machine functions
• Knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a production environment
• Open communication
• Understanding of machine setup and tear down
• Overhead crane experience
• Basic understanding of automation
• Machine and process troubleshooting
