Job summary

Element2 Group is seeking hands-on Machine Operators to set up, operate, and monitor high-volume production equipment in Avon, CT. Training starts on 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for 1–3 months, with opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shifts and rotating 12-hour schedules.

Responsibilities include machine setup, changeovers, quality inspections, and basic maintenance. Prior manufacturing experience and ability to read instructions are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Comfortable working with machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and production specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on product quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work the assigned shift.

Machine Operator

Location: Avon, CT

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

Training: All new hires train on 1st shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, for approximately 1-3 months.

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift: Operator opening - base pay up to $24/hour $2 shift differential
• 3rd Shift: Operator opening - base pay up to $24/hour $3 shift differential
• 1st/3rd Rotating 12-Hour Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM / 6:00 PM-6:00 AM

Preferred Experience

Experience with film, plastics, printing, slitting, laminating, coating, embossing, or other roll-to-roll/converting equipment is a plus. Mechanical, technical, or manufacturing training is also preferred.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position with paid training provided on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned schedule.
