Job summary

thyssenkrupp is hiring an experienced Machine Operator to run the Boshert Machine on the first shift in the Brook Park, Ohio area. The role requires certification as a material handler and ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and related equipment on the warehouse floor.

You will pull, inspect, and verify products before processing, set up machinery per work orders, and record measurements. The job emphasizes safety, lean/quality, and teamwork with responsibilities on packaging and tagging

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Safety mindful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Boshert Machine on 1st shift.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per set up notes and work order specifications.
• Record measurements and verify set up notes per instructions.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per written instructions.
• Assist in packaging of material per work instructions.
• Maintain issued measurement equipment in working condition.
• Assist in lean and quality activities.
• Train others when required.
• Work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery and maintain safety.
