Job summary

Spacesaver Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking candidates for a manufacturing technician role. You will operate pre-set machines (press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, roll formers) to produce parts according to shop orders, while following safety protocols and reading shop orders.

You will inspect quality using blueprints and precision tools and use our ERP system for order management. The position emphasizes safety, detail, and teamwork, with potential overtime as needed and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Reading and understanding instructions in English.
• Reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and LOTO practices.
• Read and interpret shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and follow schedules.
• Use ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement and assist in other areas as needed.
• Adhere to scheduled hours and overtime when required.

• Use Spacesaver's ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
