Position Summary

We are seeking a Machine Operator at our Merkel, Texas location. The role involves operating a roll forming line to produce metal roofing, siding, and related components. The Machine Operator reports to the Production Manager and receives direction from shift leads.

Hours

7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (schedule may vary).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders.
• Conduct quality control checks and complete daily checklists.
• Set up, operate, and maintain the roll former for maximum efficiency and minimal scrap.
• Adjust the line to produce the required profiles.
• Coordinate with team members for coil loading and product packaging.
• Interact with electronic controllers for machine operation details.
• Complete reports related to coil usage and production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers, hand tools, and measurement devices.
• Ability to work in an indoor environment with exposure to temperature changes.
