Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Physically able to perform job requirements.
• Willing to work extended hours Mon-Sat with overtime.
• Complete training in Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, OSHA 10, and LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct batches are to specification.
• Use proper lifting techniques when moving V-mags to prevent injuries.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures when machine is jammed or at shift end.
• Push V-mags of meat to lines.
• Report deficiencies to the Production Supervisor.
• Complete required paperwork daily.
• Ensure the proper plate is used.
• Verify product meets required weight and size.

King’s Command Foods has opportunities for a Machine Operator Lead at our Versailles, OH facility.

As a Machine Operator Lead, you will:

• Ensure that the correct batches are to spec.
• Use proper lifting techniques when moving v-mags to prevent any injuries.
• Ensure all LOTO procedures are followed when the machine is jammed or at the end of the shiftto take the machine apart. Shut the machine off and get the supervisor when a block is jammed.
• Push V-mags of meat to lines.
• Report any deficiencies to the Production Supervisor.
• Complete required paperwork daily.
• Ensure that the proper plate is used.
• Make sure product meets required weight and size.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18years or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures: warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete training:
• Safety.
• Safe Quality Food (SQF).
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• OSHA 10-Hour.
• Lockout/Tagout.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior machine operating experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
