Job summary

Emerald Packaging, Inc. is seeking a reliable lamination operator to set up and run our lamination line, producing bag or roll stock according to customer specs. You will work independently under supervision to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role requires precise measurement reading, vigilance, and the ability to work a rotating night schedule (4:00pm–2:00am initially, with overtime). This is a TEMP to HIRE opportunity offering benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience operating lamination equipment.

Job Summary

You will work independently and be responsible for the set up and operation of a lamination machine producing packaging products in bag or roll stock form (per customer preference).

Essential Functions

• Set up and operate designated machinery as efficiently as possible; training will be provided
• Must be able to read ruler, tape measure, as this is critical for machine set ups (complex measurement calculations may vary)
• Must be able to read & understand the customer’s job order instruction
• Must be alert & work efficiently keeping downtime & waste to a minimum
• Maintain the equipment in great condition & always practice safe operating procedures
• Schedule: Must be able to eventually work 12-hour rotating shift (two days on, two days off with lots of opportunities for additional overtime) but will start with Monday -Thursday 10-hour shift
• Your work will be overseen by the supervisor & department manager for support

Work Schedule

• Night Shift Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:00 am

Pay: $23.55 per hour with increases every six months

Pay Range: $23.55 - $28.16 per hour
