Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking a Machine Operator IC Cycle Count Associate for our Fort Worth warehouse. This fast-paced role includes operating cherry picker, stock chasers, and other machinery to restock and review inventory across floor and up-stock areas. You will count, recount, verify inventories, and report discrepancies.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm, at $20.60 hourly, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and stage product efficiently and safely.
• Operate machinery including cherry picker, pallet jacks, stock chasers (certification required).
• Meet KPI safety, quality, production, and efficiency targets.
• Report discrepancies and damaged items to supervisor.
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Distribution Center.
• Follow all SOPs and safety rules.
• Stay professional and focused to ensure a safe working environment.
• Willing to cross-train and perform tasks at warehouse associate levels 1–2.

About the Role

The Machine Operator IC Cycle Count Associate at S&S Activewear is a fast paced physically demanding position responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse including the operation of different machinery such as the cherry picker and stock chaser for restocking, retrieving, and reviewing of inventory from both the floor locations and up-stock storage areas. They will perform counts and recounts, verify inventories and reports discrepancies.

Mon - Fri (5:00am - 1:30pm) Full time, non-exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Efficiently & accurately retrieve and stage product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Operate machinery including the cherry picker, pallet jacks, and stock chasers. (requires certification)
• Follow & commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, & efficiency.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages to supervisor.
• Perform inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
• Follows all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
• Acts professionally and remains focused – contributing to a culture and environment focused on a safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train (may be required to do tasks that fall into warehouse associate 1 & 2).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
• Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
• Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
