• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic molding machines, activate machine to inject dies, put dies in machine, and coat dies with parting agent.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical comparator.
• Load set-up programs into the machine's controls and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Produce parts by following the work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Remove cured products from mold, cut off excess material, and inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
• Eliminate production of defective parts and products, and inform supervisors when machinery needs repair.
• Fill machine hoppers.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Hours: 1st and 2nd shift

We are searching for an Injection Molding Machine Operator for a company in Garden Grove, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate plastic molding machines, activate machine to inject dies, put dies in machine, and coat dies with parting agent
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical comparator
• Load set-up programs into the machine's controls and ensure conformance to specifications
• Produces parts by following the work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications
• Remove cured products from mold, cut off excess material, and inspect products for surface defects and flaws
• Eliminate production of defective parts and products as well as inform supervisors and team leads when machinery needs repair
• Fill machine hoppers
• Perform other duties as needed
