BekaertDeslee USA Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate high-speed machinery in our Winston-Salem, NC plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient production with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities include feeding and preparing materials, inspecting blades, recording data in SAP, and packaging finished fabric. On-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

• Assist in other areas at manager's request.

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities

• 1. Keep the area around the machine clean and safe to work in
• 2. Retrieve and position full A-frames at the slitter
• 3. Inspect the cutting blades for proper operation
• 4. Monitor the exact slit dimensions (measure and set)
• 5. Set the specified roll length
• 8. Assemble boxes for packaging
• 9. Place slit fabric into boxes
• 10. Record the required data in the SAP, and properly identify the boxes with printed labels on top and side
• 11. Assist in any area requested by manager at any time

Skills

• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery
