Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Machine Helper on 1st shift with training for several months before moving to 2nd shift. The role supports operators on all presses, handling setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending operational improvements.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. Prior corrugated industry experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong desire to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior work experience in corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper preferred.
• 6 months experience in Press and Finishing Departments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators on presses including setup, operation, cleanup, and improvements suggestions.
• Set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections accurately according to setup techniques.
• Monitor board quality and report defects to keep the machine running.
• Cross-train on other machines and move up to operator as needed.
• Complete reports accurately and timely; submit maintenance work orders for repairs.
