Job summary

JOBPRO Temporary Services is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator for a 1st shift on a temp-to-hire basis. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. You will operate equipment to produce quality parts and perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections.

Responsibilities include stopping machines when parts fail requirements, troubleshooting deviations, and maintaining production records. Requirements include HS diploma or equivalent, prior operator experience, basic math, and ability to follow

Qualifications

• High School graduate or demonstration of equivalent skills.
• Previous Machine Operator experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand written instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operate machines to produce quality parts
• Responsible for “in process” component inspection, both visual and dimensional, using specialty gages and standard measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, optical comparator, CMM)
• Responsible for stopping the machine when parts do not meet requirements
• Able to troubleshoot part and machine deviation issues
• Maintain production records

Requirements:

• High School graduate or demonstration of equivalent skills
• Previous Machine Operator experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand written instructions
• Ability to understand and follow directions
