Job summary

Canam Steel Corporation in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator III to run complex manufacturing machinery on the 2nd shift. You will monitor output, ensure quality, and handle materials using overhead cranes while performing routine maintenance and maintaining safety standards.

Required is crane certification and at least 1 year in manufacturing; you must be reliable, compliant with SOPs, and able to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.

• Valid crane certification.

Job description

The Machine Operator III is responsible for operating the very complex machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
• Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
• Operate a variety of machinery, including but not limited to, flash welder, roll former, angle master.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
• Lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.

• Use of personal protection equipment is required
