Cordis is seeking an Assembly Technician to support manufacturing of cardiovascular and endovascular components. Under supervision, you will perform repetitive bench tasks to assemble parts and subassemblies, run production equipment, and document results.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety training, and adherence to regulatory standards. You will work at assigned stations, adapt to varying workflow, and contribute to a culture focused on quality and patient outcomes.

Formación

• High school diploma and at least 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and follow detailed instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles components according to approved standards and procedures.
• Reads and follows procedures to operate production equipment.
• Performs first-piece inspections using simple test equipment.
• Records manufacturing documentation accurately (logbooks).
• Participates in stock/kanban transactions and data entry.
• Maintains compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

Working under close supervision and following detailed verbal and written instructions, performs repetitive bench to produce medical components and associated subassemblies.

• Performs simple to semi-complex tasks in the preparation for medical device assembly.
• Places parts in specified relationship to each other per written documentation
• Assembles components according to approved standards and procedures.
• Reads and follows procedures to assemble, start-up, and operate production equipment.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Perform moderately complex first piece inspections using simple test equipment.
• Accurately records and completes manufacturing documentation, i.e., logbooks.
• Communicates problems to supervisor, technician, or engineer.
• Perform stock/kanban transactions and enter lot information into computer/terminal.
• Has completed basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses.
• Must be able to perform job functions while walking and/or standing up to 100% of the time during a shift.
• Follows all corporate, safety and production standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High school diploma. Requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime hours when required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must have ability to complete training courses.
• Ability to use and read measuring devices, i.e., rulers, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Understands and can apply regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements in everyday activities.
