Job summary

Gorilla Glue in Sharonville, OH is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator II to independently operate production and packaging equipment on a 3rd shift. You will perform changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure safety, quality, and productivity. You will train newer operators and document production activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while meeting spec requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating automated production equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple pieces of production and packaging equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers and line setups with minimal supervision.
• Conduct required quality inspections and verify conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and process issues.
• Perform approved adjustments and replace wear parts as needed.
• Monitor production performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Accurately complete production, quality, downtime, and inventory documentation.
• Assist in training and onboarding new machine operators.
• Ensure safety procedures and operating standards are followed.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues.

What will your day look like?

Qualifications: What you bring to the table:

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating automated production equipment preferred.
