Job summary

The Gorilla Glue Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Machine Operator II to operate production and packaging lines, perform changeovers, monitor quality, and ensure safety on a daily basis.

You will train and support less experienced operators, document production data, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to drive efficiency and product integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating automated production equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple pieces of production and packaging equipment independently.
• Perform equipment changeovers and line setups with minimal supervision.
• Conduct required quality inspections and verify conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and process issues.
• Perform approved adjustments and replace wear parts as needed.
• Monitor production performance and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Accurately complete production, quality, downtime, and inventory documentation.
• Assist in training and onboarding new Machine Operators.
• Ensure safety procedures and operating standards are followed.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating automated production equipment preferred.
