Job summary

Mesa Labs, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator II to set up and operate advanced production machinery, including CNCs and automated systems, with minimal supervision to meet quality standards.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, mentor junior operators, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to safety guidelines and ISO/OSHA requirements in a busy plant.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to set up and operate advanced production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate advanced production machinery per job specs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot routine malfunctions; coordinate with maintenance.
• Inspect materials and finished products using standard measuring tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
• Support training of Machine Operator I personnel and juniors.
