Position: Machine Operator II

Pay Rate: $20.44 + $1.75 Shift Diff

Shift: 3rd - 10p - 6a

Position Summary

The Machine Operator II is responsible for operating and maintaining automated presses used in die cutting, printing, laminating, and slitting processes. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain safety practices and ensure a safe work environment.
2. Operate presses with automated controls under general supervision.
3. Conduct quality checks to meet customer specifications.
4. Adjust machine settings to maintain quality standards.
5. Load, unload, and move materials; operate forklift or pallet jack as needed.
6. Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance.
7. Assist with changeovers, including wash-up, teardown, and rebuild of presses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Willingness to work any shift and learn new skills.
