Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Must read and write English and have basic math skills.
Experience with precision measuring/inspection equipment preferred; learn to read gauges and inspect to close tolerances.
Good communication and teamwork.
Ability to lift 40 lbs, push/pull, stand and sit for extended periods.
Overtime flexibility to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

Operate metal stamping machines and multi-slide presses producing parts to ISO work instructions.
Complete secondary operations including riveting, assembly, welding, or forming components.
Visually and dimensionally inspect parts using gauges, optical comparators, microscopes, micrometers, and calipers.
Package parts and document production information on floor inspection sheets.
Track production quantities and labor hours in the shop floor reporting system.
