Job summary

Stryker in Cary, IL is seeking a Comfort Bath Machine Operator to oversee the operation of large-scale manufacturing equipment. You will feed materials, adjust settings, perform minor repairs, and pull finished products from the line.

This role requires attention to quality, recording production data, and supporting continuous improvement projects. Weekend overtime is required, and a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment.
• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes.
• Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents.
• Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures as needed.
• Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs
• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes
• Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents
• Operate simple manufacturing equipment, demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude, and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed
• Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures as needed
• Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.
• Assist execution of continuous improvement projects
• Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker
• Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends

As a Comfort Bath Machine Operator, you will be working with products that are improving and saving people's lives by being responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished products from the line.

• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes


• Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents


• Operate simple manufacturing equipment, demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude, and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed

What you need:

$24.10/hr + $1.00 Shift Premium plus bonus potential and benefits.
